Designed for the whole journey
Our launch offering brings together AI-assisted stories, outreach and thank-you drafts, one-time and scheduled monthly gifts, and clear payment progress. Core AI tools will have disclosed usage limits.
The current preview uses sample writing assistance and simulated giving. Live AI and payment features are still being prepared. Sponsor tiers and logo recognition are planned after the pilot.
A few things worth knowing
Is 3% added to the donor’s gift?
No. Our launch model deducts the Givado fee from the collected gift. On a $100 gift, that is $3 for a standard campaign. Card processing is separate, and the recipient receives the remainder. There is no mandatory Givado surcharge or tipping prompt.
How do fees work for monthly giving?
The fee applies to each successfully collected gift, never to the total projected commitment or a failed attempt. The approved campaign rate stays the same for its existing monthly gift schedule.
What are the card processing fees?
Our example estimates 2.9% + $0.30 per successful payment using Stripe’s published U.S. domestic online card rate. That is $3.20 on a $100 gift. For monthly gifts, processing applies to every successful payment. Actual rates can vary by the recipient’s processor agreement and payment details; international cards, currency conversion and other applicable charges are excluded from this estimate. Final charges will be explained before live giving opens.
What happens to fees if a gift is refunded?
Our launch policy returns the Givado platform fee proportionately with a donation refund. Card processing fees may not be returned by the processor. The campaign’s giving and refund terms will explain the details before payment.
Who receives the money?
The recipient named on the campaign receives gifts through its connected Stripe account, less applicable fees and adjustments. For a team campaign, that recipient is the organization; supporting a player does not create a separate bank balance for the child.
